Natalia Bjerke is a West London/ Manchester based photographer specialising in Portraiture, Music and fashion based photography.
Her route into photography began with an interest in London’s graffiti culture; from illustrating her own, to taking her hand-me-down camera to document other artwork in the city, a passion for documentary-style photography was found. Common subjects were skaters and unique people from London's underground subcultures. Over time, the focus strayed towards interesting people in interesting spaces, mirroring the queer, energetic, fast-paced, bold and powerful spaces she finds herself in.
Fast forward to now, Natalia finds herself shooting a range of subjects, focusing on trying to find a way to pack punch, vibrancy and character within her subjects.
